"Heraus mit der Sprache" (Out With It) is the sixth scene from FELIX DER WÖRTERSAMMLER (Felix the Word Collector), a mini opera for children with libretto and music written by me, Timna Brauer. In this scene I step on stage myself as the Full Moon, with the Vienna Tango Quintet bringing the music to life. The story behind the opera comes from Wolfgang Hermann's "Der Junge, der Wörter sammelte" (The Boy Who Collected Words): a boy who does not speak, but who is deeply musical, and who becomes a famous beatboxer. On September 7, 2025, I had the great pleasure of organizing the Kinderklangwolke (Children's Sound Cloud) in Linz for the second time, and it was a joy to perform this premiere in front of more than 3,000 visitors. This is Part 6. Watch the earlier scenes here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLZF1g_GLtk New scenes from the opera are being released here step by step.
