"Chef d'orchestre" is the warming-up scene from FELIX DER WÖRTERSAMMLER (Felix the Word Collector), a mini opera for children with libretto and music written by me, Timna Brauer. Gilles Mussard performs the pantomime, and the Vienna Tango Quintet brings the music to life. The story behind the opera comes from Wolfgang Hermann's "Der Junge, der Wörter sammelte" (The Boy Who Collected Words): a boy who does not speak, but who is deeply musical, and who becomes a famous beatboxer. On September 7, 2025, I had the great pleasure of organizing the Kinderklangwolke (Children's Sound Cloud) in Linz for the second time, and it was a joy to perform this premiere in front of more than 3,000 visitors.
